  • „Tiropa” Ltd. was founded in 1997. It has been a member of Latvia’s international road shipping association „Latvijas auto” since 1997 and a member of the Latvian Cargo Freight Association (Latvijas kravas ekspeditoru asociācija, LAAF) since 1998.
  • The main line of business of „Tiropa” Ltd. is shipping compound (low-volume) cargo to European countries and back to the Baltic States and Russia. Possible shipping volumes range from 1 to 25,000 kg and from 1 m3 to 120 m3.
  • For customer convenience, „Tiropa” Ltd. has a vehicle fleet for shipping cargo within Riga, as well as all across Latvia. The vehicles are equipped with lifts, thus allowing quick, convenient and high-quality delivery of any sort of goods to any location on the territory of Latvia.
  • Presently, „Tiropa” Ltd. owns 55 vehicles: 13.6 m with a 92 m3 volume, including 2 high-volume vehicles with capacities of 115 m3. 11 Mercedes Benz Atego motorcars with cargo lifts are used for transporting small cargo. The average age of the cars is 3 years.
  • Developing and expanding non-stop, the vehicle fleet of „Tiropa” Ltd. is continually extended with new motorcars equipped with the latest in technology. Mindful of environmental protection, our company is one of the first in Latvia to extend its car fleet with Class Euro 5 motorcars, which comply with EU safety and environmental standards.
  • All motorcars are equipped with mobile communications and are currently also being equipped with GPS, allowing our customers to follow their cargo order and monitor its location on-line.
  • Most of the vehicles are equipped with ADR devices, which enable the handling and shipping of dangerous cargo.
  • All cargo shipped by „Tiropa” Ltd. is insured within the framework of CMR liability at Scandinavian insurance company “IF”. Insurance limits: 200,000 EUR per road accident, 500.000 EUR: total company limit. Where necessary, supplemental or full insurance of cargo is also allowed.
  • After an analysis of its shipment intensity performance for 2007, „Tiropa” Ltd. is proud of the achievement, having carried out over 7,000 shipments for more than 300 different customers.
  • „Tiropa” Ltd. acts on its social conscience by supporting the „Ziemeļpols” sports club for children.
